And everywhere in international politics the economy is at the centre. President Obama calling for financial and economic reforms in the USA. German Kansler Merkel calling for a need to bail out fellow European Union member Greece in troubled times, hesitantly because she too is up for election. But faces EU legitimacy at the same time. British de facto PM Gordon Brown trying to focus his attention on economic issues. Because that is what matters the most to people. That is what makes everything else fall into place.
