Wiggle That Wallet

On Saturday, the CARE Denmark NGO gave an introduction to Zumba dancing at the gymnastic city of DGI in Copenhagen. The purpose of their event was to bring awareness to a new 'save and lend' campaign for women in developing countries.

And did they ever! Several hundred Danish women in all shapes and sizes from teenagers to pensioners were wiggling their booties and shaking their hips to Latin American rythms. Wiggling their wallets to chip in for the introduction of new kits of savings boxes and accounting booklets for their counterparts afar.

A 66-year-old Danish pensioner, let's call her Birgit, had left her green houses to the tennants and taken the trip from suburbian Sengeløse to wiggle her wallet as productively as she could. And did she ever!
